The lodge offers a fantastic shuttle service to the nearby ski resort; we even opted to take the train there, which allowed for a stress-free travel experience. The cozy lounge area became a nightly ritual where I exchanged stories with fellow travelers over a delightful draft beer from the in-house bar. As someone who loves immersing myself in the local culture, I appreciated the delicious BBQ dinners they offered-perfect after a day of exploring the stunning mountain trails! Whether you're an adventurer keen on skiing or just looking to unwind in nature, this is an ideal getaway in the heart of Japan! Highly recommend!
